Not long ago I was talking to someone and they asked me a simple, yet profound question, "What are your goals in life?" Not the usual, "What do you do for fun?" but an actual question that someone could draw many conclusions from this about you and not what you liked, or said you liked to do.

I actually was taken aback a bit. How dare this person ask me what my goals were. I was ready to flex my verbalistic muscles and talk of my days of watching paint peel and grass grow. Now I had been foiled!

I bucked up and answered though. My goals in life are to be happy, that's all I want. Just to be truly happy and yes I am secure enough to remain single, but I would much rather share my life with someone than be alone. Material things I could care less about, after all they will never define me or any relationship.

I liked marriage. I loved the feeling I got when I turned over and saw someone that I knew loved me unconditionally. So do I want that again, yes; am I willing to sacrifice the person I am for it...no.

So my goal in life is to find that, if I do great, if not, oh well at least I know I never settled. Be a great epitaph.

So was there a point to this? No not really.

My goals in life. Hrm..Interesting.
1) Make People laugh.
2) Be a good father.
3) conquer my fear of heights
