Hi, I am Emma and im from Hamilton, Montana...I heard about this website through a friend and thought it sounded like a lot of fun...unfortuneatly im completely clueless as to how it all works...lol

how do you meet people from the same area as yourself?

is there a way to find people using like interests?

and last but not leat....what does mutual match mean?

Hey Emma and welcome to JSH. You can set your search criteria to limit it to a specific amount of miles from your location. If you want to see people with the same interests, head to your profile homepage and your listed interests will be in blue and you can click on them, bringing up a list of others who have that interest listed. Mutual match means that someone else fits your search preferences and the two of you will get notifications and be allowed to choose "yes", "no", or "maybe" as to whether or not you would want to meet them. If both of you pick yes or maybe, then it's a mutual match. It's still up to you two to actually communicate though haha.
