Geek: (From urban dictionary)
The term "geek" originally referred to the carnival performers whose act consisted of biting the heads off chickens and eating glass. Over time it came to be applied to anyone who got paid to do work considered odd or bizarre by mainstream society. Not to be confused with Nerd. A geek does not have to be smart, a Geek is someone who is generally not athletic, and enjoys Video Games; Comic Books; being on the internet, and etc. Note: Unlike the word "nerd," which is always pejorative, "geek" often carries a positive connotation when used by one of the group. The use of the term by outsiders is considered insulting. |

When I was in college all the youngsters called me "nerd girl"..I thought it was cuz I always wrecked the curve. That is a bad thing??? |

Handymanbill~ I'm not quite sure here if you are asking if you are one or not, since I do not go to youtube... According to your profile... Profession: a woman my own size I think this would qualify you, as I think I might be able to safely assume that would be considered odd or bizarre by mainstreamed society. |
