Ok so I'm gonna be honest here...this is the first Valentine's Day that I've been single in 6 years. And I gotta admit, I love it. It's great not having to worry about which day of the week it is, drop all my plans to schedule around dinner, make sure to buy something nice (will chocolate work or will she think it will make her fat? will jewelry be nice, or too cliche? if so, which type? what are her favorite flowers again?) and have to put on a huge show as if we suddenly loved each other more that one day of the year. I'm quite enjoying my first single valentine's day.
