My cat is great. He knows I'm not doing great tonight, so he's being super cuddly, but he's also prowling the apartment and being super attentive to the noises outside. He's acting like a big ol' guard dog. He normally just sleeps in his chair, so this is a big deal. So beware, or you'll have to answer to Edward T. Cat.

I just had to give him some kudos.

Cats try to protect...they just don't have the "bark" down to a system yet.

thanks.. there's family stuff going on, and it's just got me totally off center. Normally I can handle things okay, but tonight I just... can't.

My cat has been very friendly with me lately, usually he just sleeps in the chair, on the couch, or by the door. Lately he's been acting all girly, I think he can sense when I'm feeling depressed, and he's just trying to comfort me.

Either that or I forgot to feed him. huh

Ah, didn't realize he hates cats. My cat is pretty awesome though. He really is more dog-like than cat-like.

Yeah, Eddie's really protective, but he's too fluffy and soft to really be intimidating.

My cat talks alot, but it gets really *****y sounding when I haven't fed him. Right now he's just laying on my leg and purring, and kneading my thigh (which kindof hurts..)

Nah, the only thing he does that he shouldn't is get on the kitchen counters.

My cat (who died a year back at twenty years of age) managed to save my ass from getting chewed up by the neighbor's big ol' mean-ass dogs once several years ago.

The sorry mutts managed to hop a fence and make their way to my back yard while I was outside. They saw me and were about to attack when my cat got between me and them. The cat's tail poofed out like a bottle brush, his ears pinned back, and he made some noises I've NEVER heard a housecat make before.

To make a long story not-so-long, he freaked the two dogs out, who decided to high-tail it back where they came from, being chased by my cat the whole time. I was not-so-close behind my cat, in case those dogs figured out that two big dogs can take one cat.

My cat ate REALLY well that night. happy

My cat likes to lay between me and the keyboard when I'm on the computer. He'll just lean up against me, so that if I move he'd fall off the table. He'll lay there until he can't fall asleep because he'll try to lay his head on my hand, but when I move the mouse, his head moves. I just get annoyed and put him in the chair next to me, then he just curls up and sleeps.

Hey, my cat is bigger than most small dogs (he weighs about 15 lbs, but he's not fat, he's just BIG)!

I need to take something to knock me out tonight and maybe I won't wake up until it's time to pack and drive to Tulsa tomorrow...

I'm not grouchy everytime cats are mentioned, I just didn't wanna say anything that would get the feministic feline friendly females all riled up again. smokin drinker
