without a doubt, I would ask her out to coffee, esp if I did not know her. If I knew her, same thing. Might as well get acquainted a little bit, and I was never one to let fear or paranoia rule me. Who knows, maybe we could be friends or some such thing. If not, at least let her know where I stand in no uncertain terms. Ladies, the prob is a little diff. Generally, a guy can do more damage to a lady than a lady can do to a guy. Lots easier to scare a lady than it is to scare a guy because of their more emotional viewpoints. I think stalking is more about control, kinda like rape, than it is about love or romance.
