When it says "holy sh*t, Cambolaya is hitting the Jesus buttom AGAIN!" that just means the computer is fed up and wants to go home.

OK you got mail..lets see if this helps. It's definitely pointing at just internet, so thats better than error codes from hardware and the blue screen of death. Hopefully its just a simple cleanout of the internet junk files. Or it is possible he is having a problem on his ISP..that can happen too. But don;t worry, it should not be a serious problem given the info you have given me so far.

Whats the proplem?

He is getting IM to work but his computer will not open internet pages it just freezes. I think at this point he has it traced to his modem but ATT wont come fix it till Monday.

Good credentials...just some freindly advise, especially in this forum. Be real carefulwhen even stating your credentials. Most of us understand you are only saying them in a good way to let people know you are qualified and they can put some trust into your advise.

Sadly there are a couple of users that actually take such statements as if you are "boasting" or trying to put yourself above them.

I know, that's totally pathetic..but unfortunately true in this case. I have been running into a couple of users that are exactly that way. Anytime you just try to give a little advice in what you really do have expertise in, they somehow take it as a personal style attack against "them". Amazing...but true!

But welcome to the forums and the computer section. Hope to see you around here a lot and look forward to chatting. Always nice to chat about common interests and experiences.
