I know what mine was when my husband was dying as much as I wanted him to stay here I told him to go to the light. And he did which hurt like hell but I knew he wasn't going to suffer anymore

When my mother was dying, I had to tell her it was ok to go and she took one breath and was gone......sometimes you have to let them know it is ok to let go...

thanks guys but when you love someone you do what you need to do for them and after 34 years togeather I knew this was the last thing I could do for him. And I would do it again but I know you all did brave things too

Well my bravery doesn't top that, but I've stood in the face of people twice my size and weight and told them to leave others alone (bullies in school, and out of school).
I also walked again when I was told I wouldn't. |

Fear I think that is great I think we all do brave things and for you walking dont ever stop

I flu on an airplane for the first time ever (I have acrophobia)
across the country to get the hoaxie treatment in Mexico for my fiance'- that was dying of cancer. I went by myself. I was scard! Three days to go out and back... I think that was pretty brave. I also was in a party store one night when this BIG guy grabbed a 24 pack of beer and tried to walk out with it. I stepped in his way in front of the door, and looked him straight in the eye. He put the beer down on the floor and walked out of the store. I'm not sure that was brave- it kind of felt stupid when I did that. |

This is not as brave as the other posters but my bravest thing was joining the Army at the age of 32...

About the bravest thing I have done is I have been living on my own for about a year now when I was told all my life I would have to depend on others. Don't ever tell me I can't do something.

I think whatever everyone has posted has to be brave otherwise you wouldn't have said it and I think it is great that we can all do these things.I think it makes us stronger
