Is anyone lactose intollerant? If so,seriously,what happens if you drink milk and eat cheese?

My Brother is, He would be in a lot of pain and was in the bathroom all day when he drunk milk

yes iam milk makes me sick like (puke) and a little cheese is ok but don!t over do it

my daughter was until she was 2, she had to drink soy formula.... it was mainly a tummy ache if she had dairy, my granny feels sick to her stomach for a while but she still indulges once and awhile, she says rocky road is worth it. lol.

I was told I was l.i. I didnt believe my Dr.So,I ate some cheese and drank strawberry milk. Now,I cant talk or laugh!

maybe its anxiety cause now my head hurts and my heart is pacing. i took some Benadryl and Xanex...so,if I dont feel better in 30 mins.....its 911 for me!

Enya, you'll be alright. LI is just the bodies inability to break down lactic acid. Why did you take Benadryl?

its not an allergic reaction, its your body being unable to digest milk and milk products

My daughters doc said it was your bodys way of dealin with an allergic reaction to milk and milk products... and its causes the body to not be able to digest them.... So I have always thought of it as an allergic reaction... I very well could be incorrect, Im not disputing that. This is just my experience
