I'm not a professional, but even if I was, that would mean absolutely squat when it comes to dating. If a guy would not date a woman just because he is and she isn't a professional, I pity him for he could miss out on someone who could be perfect for him. Hey, I know what I am! A professional unprofessional!

I was just dating a man that was all impressed at first that I worked 2 jobs and am in my 2nd year of college... until he moved in... then it was what he hated most. Then when I said i was going for a 2nd degree in sept. he went through the roof, saying i'd dump him when i made more money.... so it goes both ways

would a professional guy date a girl who was unprofessional, i mean career wise. Like if I am just a secretary and he is a would be 6 year degree person, what good reason, besides the sex thing, would he date me for?? just wondering what the guys viewpoint is on this, if there are any professionals out there. I am studying to be a hairdresser, but not done school yet. Due to certain circumstances in my life, had not had the best track record where jobs are concerned, just had the basic run of the mill jobs, did co-own a store, etc, need some feedback. Hey I know you asked for a guy's opinion, but I'll give mine anyway. Degrees don't necessarily make him any smarter than you and they certainly don't make him any better. We all have our strengths (and weaknesses). And if this person was so pretentious as to turn you down because you were "beneath" him, then he's not worth it anyway. It sounds like you're interested in him. I say give it a shot. You've got nothing to lose. Good luck! |

I Love you Dae11x Thanks Brian325. As for 9's question about it going both ways - I'm considered a professional (whatever the F that means) and yes I would date someone who "wasn't." I agree with all the people who are saying that it's all about who the person is inside. Is some CEO making 450 million dollars a year while the company is being downsized a good person, even if he is a professional? Sorry I'll get off my soapbox now. |
