A fool and his money can throw one hell of a party.

laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh lol, yes.....

In answer to the topic, no, i don't think so. I suppose if you feel some obligation and are not bothered by it, then to each his own. Personally, no, i wouldn't pay every time. Some people are just naturally generous, and some people take advantage of that.

i think it should depend on the circumstances.

if i'm like...super rich, and i want to do things that are way out of my friends' ranges...well, then i would pay without even a word, so as to not make them uncomfortable.

if we were headed to subway or pizza hut or something...well, they can pay, lol.

I wouldn't want to pay, because if the roles were reversed, I would feel like less of a woman because I wasn't paying... silly maybe but just meohwell

Once I lived the life of a millionaire,
Spent all my money, I just did not care.
Took all my friends out for a good time,
Bought bootleg whisky, champagne and wine.

Then I began to fall so low,
Lost all my good friends, I did not have nowhere to go.
I get my hands on a dollar again,
I'm gonna hang on to it till that eagle grins.

'Cause no, no, nobody knows you
When you're down and out.
In your pocket, not one penny,
And as for friends, you don't have any.

When you finally get back up on your feet again,
Everybody wants to be your old long-lost friend.
Said it's mighty strange, without a doubt,
Nobody knows you when you're down and out.

When you finally get back upon your feet again,
Everybody wants to be your good old long-lost friend.
Said it's mighty strange,
Nobody knows you,
Nobody knows you,
Nobody knows you when you're down and out.

Okay... I said yes. Why?

Because money is just money. It is for living. If my friends had it and I did not, they would give it to me. It has happened. And when I have it, I give it. Genorosity is a choice. If I spend money along the way of my friendships or get it.. that is not at all what our memories entail. What we remember is the good time we had and the loving, giving spirit which enabled it to happen in the first place.

To quote a country song, you got to live like you were dying.
