hey all, I moved to texas 3 years ago but it does not feel like I have made any friends, not like I had back home... but here i have a really good job better then I have ever had! But for some reason I feel this urge to just pack up and go back home I miss everything about it! Does anyone have any good advice or ever felt this way? I just hope it goes away soon!!!

hey bright eyes,,,,,,it don't get no better with age,,,,,,i moved to florida in 1974 an i have always wanted to go back home,,,,,,but every time i do,,all my friends are gone,,,,,,,so all i can say is take a few days if u can an go back an check things out,,,,,,,u want regret doing this,,,an it might make u feel better

Thats the problem I cant go back to just visit my ex lives there and its a small town he wants custody of my kids... and my son is scared of him so he fears even going kind of near there or even to the state... but its like 2,000 miles away

I know where you are comming from since I lived in Dallas for 20 years. What I did was took a vacation back home for 2 weeks and was glad to go back. My friends here left also and it just wasnt home anymore. Just hang in there and you will make friends

I am from utah a small town in the uintah mountains.... now i live in texas... and your right its not living when your not happy the best i can tell ya is to make the most of it...us military guys at times dont like where we live lol and there really isnt too much we can do unless you like going overseas
then again that the military lol
