Grey and heavy
Storm clouds
Grouped over my head
In a threatening manner
As a sprinkling of tears
From the heavens
Intermingle with mine
The grieving has just begun …
And in my sorrow
I ask myself
Will I ever again
Feel a lightness
Of spirit
Or the warmth
of the sun?

Time heals and the warmth returns,,

The sun does come out and the daffodils will bring the Spring with them.

and when the anvil in the sky shudders
as if stricken with a forging sledge
there is a crashing torrent
and a vicious tailwind
blows it all to hell
stormcloud, rain, ice, and
quite a bit of earth mixed in with sky
while sadness runs in channels melting
more earth like cocoa streams
down hidden holes
and
secret places until the rage
just slips away
and the swelling miraculously goes down
all that's left is peace and the murmur
of tricking water under
the scent of freshly washed air
