Whispers in darkness your voice comes to me
Bearing your presence, just what I need.
My spirit so naked and marred by life
Broken and wounded yet healed inside.
You take me to places I've rarely been
And show me the sites of you within.
How do you know and how do you feel,
The strength you portray so vivid and real.
The confusion is fading, unraveled like twine
A chance for perhaps a feeling sublime.
A spirit I know, familiar at least
Chasten to see what I am inside me.
Hasten your heart but be careful of speed
I precaution I see hiding something in need.
Don't stray from the path that's set before you
