ok well a thunder storm has come in an I'm alone an I tend to get really scared.... how do I get over this

lmao cant sleep when its like this... a tornado has come thur our small town it freaks me out soo bad... I know its not the time of year but still..... an cant turn the radio up..parents will freak lol

Don't give up. Do you have anything to hold?It will be by in a bit. Just hold on for a bit. Here is a hand to hold if it helps.

The one thing you CAN do is count down between when the lightning and thunder take place. If interval between lightning and thunder seem to be getting longer, then the storm is moving away. If the interval gets shorter, then the storm is heading toward you. In the least, it'll give you to think about while the thunder passes. And who knows- you might just nod off while trying to count the intervals down... sorta like counting sheep, only louder.
