Who cares. Christian or muslim. same god.

its not the muslim part I care about. I agree Christian, muslim, jew, all the same god. Its the radical values that were drilled into his head from a very early age.

Mccain and Clinton are both winning. If these are the two canidates I am not voting. Both are hypocrites.

I'm curious to know why you think Mc Cain is a hypocrite?

Obama is not muslim. Even if he was the muslim religion is not evil. It is the brainwashed radicals that want to do harm. There are radical christian muslims jews etc. Obama is christian. Got that good.

I think it is you who dosent know what you are talking about. He only recently "renounced" his muslum faith to become catholic becouse of the flak he was catching. If he had nothing to hide from his past or present he would not have changed faith. Think of it this way if you are a prodastant you wouldnt change your religion just to please the people. If you want to talk about brainwashed look at obamas father. He was involved in several extreamist groups and taught the same thing to obama during his youth. Also if he is christian why was he wanting to be sworn in on a kuran and not a bible.

I heard the same .... that Obama went from the Muslim faith to the Christian faith since he knew he would not do well in politics as a Muslim. However, I do not believe he is Catholic.

This Muslim stuff is all based on a smear email that was circulated recently. Follow this link to a CNN report where it is completely debunked.

justlooking..... your query was not directed at me, but I will answer it since this is an open thread. McCain is a hypocrite because he changed his stance on open borders to get the conservative vote, and he also changed position on taxes, and some other issues. Also he pretends to be a Republican, but is nothing but a RINO.

Yes, leahmarie, McCain has slid significantly towards the center to pick up votes, a move which will wind up shooting him in the foot when the evangelical right drops support for him because he is too moderate. However, I don't think the term RINO is very accurate anymore, since the entire Republican base has undergone extreme shifts in what it means to actually be "Republican". A few core values remain, but for the most part Republicans have been morphing enough that simply calling someone "Republican" is nearly the same as "RINO".

rayne5,

Given your recent posts, is it fair to assume that you are of Christian faith, and a practicing Christian ???

And that your posts reflect the proper Christian positions to adopt???

Please confirm. Thank you.

voileazur - please note that rayne's statements about Obama's muslim faith and/or radical beliefs are entirely false and extremely prejudicial. Not that it would surprise me if that was the accepted Christian view, but just know that it is untrue.

I do not believe McCain is sincere in his so-called shift to the center. I think he is doing a Hillary, that is saying whatever is necessary to pick up votes. I hope that move will cause people to drop their support for him since I do not want to see him being elected president.

I disagree with you on the termonology RINO. It means Republican in Name Only and applies to those who tend to be liberal. Most Republicans are staying conservative, although a few are going towards the left.

My understanding was the RINO meant "more liberal" than true Republicans (hence moderate), not that it meant actually being "a liberal".

You may very well be right about McCain faking for the votes. Either way, he's definitely hamstringing himself.

then i guess you think things are fine the way they are

try writing in the person you want

send the message

abstaining from voting without a space for it on the ballot means (to them) you are ok with things as they are

so if you don't vote ---- don't *****

Noooooo. You need to vote, if only for the lesser of the two evils. Although I am a Republican, I believe that Hillary is the lesser of the two evils. Sadly, if McCain and Clinton are the nominees, Hillary will get my vote.

Sorry I thought here in the United States we had the freedom of speech, among other freedoms...don't tell someone that their complaint is less valid based on whether or not they vote, I don't wear flip flops but I can complain about them all day as is the way with the president...I don't need to vote to express my opinion on the situation.

For the trillionth time...the freedom of speech clause only prohibits the congrtess from passing laws infringing on the freedom of speech. It doesn't mean that someone is prohibited from telling someone else to shut their trap. That argument is based on logic, not constitutional rights. E.g. it is not logical to complain about results of an election which you had a chance to participate in, but chose not to. There is no constitutional provision either protecting or denying someone else the right to tell you that you're wrong and should can it.

Well I would vote if every election didn't turn into a "miscount" situation, which leads me to believe that either the count is done by people that can't in fact count at all...or that it is crooked, personally I lean more towards crooked as I can't imagine that many people who would be put on counting votes whom couldn't count.

Actions in this country affect everyone, we don't all try to change these decisions by voting. Personally I take it to my congressman if it is that serious of an issue (as I've done numerous times in the past), personally I believe more gets done that way then voting in a "I will be good for the people" president.

Obamba belongs to the Trinity Church of Christ. He is not Muslim, & isn't going to be sworn in with a Koran if elected. I think you may be confusing him with congressman Kieth Ellison of Minnesota, whu is Muslim & used Thomas Jefferson's Koran when he was sworn in.

if you do nothing to make things the way you think they should be

like vote if you do not like the way the govt is b n run

then you have no complaint

complaining about the gov when not voting

is like

complaining about b n broke when refusing to work when its offered

just a thought

but hey what do i know

Kudos. It amazes me how many people don't utilize their Congressperson.

You earned my respect, not a lot of people would find that to be a legitimate action (which is by far more surprising).
