(ok...replying to multiple posts here lol) I didn't think about long fingernails, I'll have to play around with that and see what I can do. As for the brightness of the blue, I had sort of wanted to make it bright originally, but I can see where it's distracting from the rest. Easy enough to lighten the layers and solve that one  I hadn't gotten to the sky yet...that's Working Title stage 5  But I might have to play around with some heavy clouds, moon, lightning etc...although I probably won't go with a bat...but a dragon or two flying around would look good and fit with the fantasy theme. Chickayoshi: yup :) I do a lot of digital work, mostly working in Poser, Bryce and GIMP with the occasional work in Paint Shop Pro or equivilent...just depends on what I'm doing at the time. But I also do some charcoal work when I've got time You might consider getting a DA site if you don't already have one, it's free to join and a great way to get feedback from other artists :) I've learned a lot and grown a lot as an artist since I joined there about a year ago now, I guess it is. lol As to titling it myself...I would love to...but sadly I'm drawing a blank for a title. I've thought of like..."Guardian of the Hidden City" or "The Hidden City" etc etc...they just don't seem to fit lol your special, its very evident lol Anytime I hear the word "special" I always think the person is being sarcastic or making fun in a nice way But I'm taking it as it was (hopefully) intended, as a compliment...and thank you..  if I were being sarcastic you would know. hey one other thing. the eye on the left as your looking at the pic, just looks like it has nothing but white. to me both eyes should be looking at the same thing

hey one other thing. the eye on the left as your looking at the pic, just looks like it has nothing but white. to me both eyes should be looking at the same thing Ah no...that's something that will be edited in "stage 5" the eye has actually been cut and I've got to work on the scar as well as the cut in the eyeball...so it's supposed to be all white :D |
