Why do you invade my dreams,
Dreams of life, so it seems.
Now I ask, you gentle friend,
Dreams today, will they end.

Why is it, you come near,
Wash away, all my fear.
Questions I have are few,
Ask them now, is it true.

Ghosts I pulled from the night,
Do not scare me in the light.
Come to me in the day,
Lighting true, is the way.

Give you now a candle too,
Come to me, please be true.
Truth of life these passing days,
Buried deep, go away.

Caring not, what has been,
Caring souls, in the wind.
Given breath, throughout the day,
Breathing slowly is my way.

Hear me now my gentle friend,
Gifts are given, hearts to mend.
Ghosts of old were told of you.
Dreams of old can be true.

Show you know you can see,
Path of life come to me.
Now I end, promise to,
Walk one path, just for you.

With a thickened tounge I could speak but I would say nothing....so I
