I have never met anyone from this site but I have met people from online before... there is no set time limit, it depends on how comfortable you are with each other. There is a line between getting comfortable and just dragging it out. I'd have to agree with you on that, Jill… A lot of people think that you need a certain amount of time, like there's this magic formula. I think that if you trust someone enough, you should meet them. But, of course, trust DOES take a while. The majority of the people on this site are who they say they are, or at least somewhat close to it. Not saying that everyone can be trusted, but I think that trust is the main component on whether or not you should meet someone online. |

I say you wait until the background check, credit check and once you conduct those interviews with that person's ex's.....and all comes back ok....then you move on to the meet.

meeting is a huge step, sometimes it blows up in your face, and sometimes it takes your relationship to another level, and sometimes, you just get a great friend outta the deal just make sure your meeting is safe, there are rules you should follow...just think, how would you want your mom to handle a meeting? |
