i'm living in a world
of assembled metal monsters
and robotically stacked windows
a world where the most inspiring quote is
'everything happens for a reason'
now everyone is looking for forgiveness
and the answers to their panicked prayers
streets are scattered and falling in shambles
with broken hearts and shattered dreams
from people who throw things away
just because they're afraid of feeling
everyone is desperate for love
and a reassurance that they deserve anything at all
i was taught the world was all about love
but somewhere in the chaos
of intertwining platinum branches
and hate cascading from foreign clouds
i guess that got mixed up

Good poem.

That was really enjoyable to read.. the imagery was nice though a bit saddening but i really like poems that paint vivid images in my head.. when i first started reading it, it mislead me though..i thought it would be a silly poem or song.. then i kept reading and it got really saddening and slightly deep.. but overall it was really beautiful.
