Damn Noden, I just noticed YOU herald this damn thread to a new damn level!! Congratualtions ((((shutter))) ((((clancy)))) ((((Cuppy))))) ((((allen))))) ((((grey)))))) How the damn hell you all doin?!?!?!? Damn.. My 2 cents.... I think a lot of folls are leary of a long distance thing because it's difficult to keep them going, not to mention costly, traveling and phone costs, etc. I think also it takes the right set of circumstances and the right two people to pull it off, as there are so many on-line folks with trust issues from things they've endured from past relationships, the distance might heighten that insecurity. Then, there's leaving families and friends, a home, a home town, a job..etc. However, having said all of that...I think folks need to be willing to take a chance within reason, expand their horizons a bit. After all, one of the reasons folks are here is because they aren't finding what they want right in their own backyard. Let's just bring that right on up to a damn NICKLE Yes trust is a big issue with the online dating thing. Everyone has probably been burnt a time or two. But what are the old sayings. "LOVE does not come without risks." "It is better to have loved and lossed than to never have loved." Not everyone has then means to travel long distances to meet someone they are not even sure if is the "right" one. Those you just take your time with. Yes the backyard thing. That's why I came online. Nothing in my area that I had seen interested me so knew I was going to have to travel atleast a little. Damn I hate being serious  Damn Laci, girl, LOVE it when your serious Some good stuff there, and some DAMN smart woman Love is about having faith, hope and trust. Mostly in your DAMN self. Have faith that you will find what your looking for, hope that the spirits will support it and TRUST that you made the right choice,,, AMEN   Dam as far as the travelling goes, well I am in Canada, Ontario and when I get to chatting with someone I have met in the States, it ends up falling by the way side due to Custom issues, money and then if and who wants to up and move, I have myself 3 grandchildern that I couldn't bear not to watch grow up, so for me moving would be out of the picture, so I guess I am on here for the friends I have recieved from this place. I will not be looking for romance any longer, cause it came to me twice, and both times I have taken a hit, in my heart, I can no longer bare that, sure as hell wish there was a man for me in my hometown, hard to meet someone online and even harder meeting them in your own backyard... My dam 2cents and then some.... |
