Life is full of heart ach and pain but it is also has joy and happiness. you just have to take what is thrown at you and make it what you will. I have to go to a memoral for my grandmother who raised me on Sat and I know she would be dissapointed in me if I did not live my life to its fullest and Im sure yoour wife would feel the same way about you.

My Mother lost my Father to cancer a few years ago. They had been together since her teens.

She is sad at times.. but I've never heard her talk of a cost in regards to the relationship with my Dad. She celebrates the fact that she had the time, a life, with someone who loved her so dearly.

I could not possibly have that kind of time with anyone in my life now..being I am in my 40's. However.. should I experience the quality of relationship that they had, in the remainder of my life.. I would hope I would borrow a page from her book if my partner passed, and would hope the same for my partner should I fall first.
