Who is with me? Very few people are with you on the Ron Paul for President. He is either last or close to last in all the polls. Therefore, he doesn't have a chance of being president. However, FOX News noted something and that is that he is capable of raising a lot of money, but more important, his supporters are very dedicated and passionate about him. |

Right, but be sure to pass on the Kool-Aid at the rally. |

Writing in Ron Paul in a general election would be a waste of a vote. I wish it weren't true, but it is. The American Electoral System is badly in need of being revamped. Until it is, though, any vote for a third party (or non-party endorsed) candidate is a waste. |

I don't like McCain or Romney or Huckabee and I have a Deep Passionate Hatred for Liberals so as far as my vote being a waste, go ahead and follow the heard! Me I'll give the republican party a big middle finger and vote for who I want, not for who they want. |

I wasn't indicating that it's a good thing to vote for who a party endorses, only mentioning that by failing to do so, your vote becomes irrelevant (except as a subtracted vote for one of the major party candidates). Luckily, I wholly support a candidate who appears poised to win his party's endorsement anyway, so I don't have to worry about making the tough choice between voting for my favorite or throwing my vote away. |

Don't listen to him. No vote is a waste. Ron Paul has my vote. Most candidates I have to search for things that I agree with them on, but not Ron Paul. In fact, of what I have seen there is only one thing Ron Paul and I disagree on and thats net neutrality.

I fully agree with Ron on American Independence, Border security and Immigration, taxes, 2nd Amendment, no taxes for people who work for tips and Racism. so there for I'm voting for Ron because I strongly agree with the man on a lot of issues, not because he may or may not win. |

I'm speaking about the system and how it is designed against third party candidates. No third party candidate has won ANY electoral votes since 1968 and as far as I'm aware, no third party candidate has ever been elected to the Presidency (since the formation of the modern Republican and Democratic party). So, by all means vote for Ron Paul in the primaries...but regardless of how appealing the candidate may be, a vote for a third party candidate in the general election will be meaningless until the United States adopts a run-off electoral system which is long overdue. |

I agree with what you said here, except Paul is not a third party candidate he's a republican. but I will vote for who I believe in regardless of his chance of winning. it's not about voting for who everyone thinks is the winner but who you truly agree with and I do not like McCain Romney or Huckabee. |

"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your voice is never lost." -John Quincy Adams I'm serious when I say that there is something to be said for sticking to your guns and voting with your beliefs. Really. But at the same time, I also know a whole lot of people who voted for Nader and are pissed that they ended up with Bush as a President instead of Gore. |

First, I realize that he is a Republican party candidate now, but he won't be in the election. Anyone beyond the two candidates officially endorsed by the party is placed in the position of a third party candidate. Second, all I hope for is that people understand how the system works. Once they do (and it's clear that you do), they can vote any way they want and I'm not trying to change their vote, just make sure that they're aware of what it means. Lots of respect for that. |
