Hello I am very new to this site and I am wondering what makes it any different or special than anyother of the many millions of dating sites ? What about tips ? can you tell me some of the things that you do to make your experiance more fulfilling? In a nut shell I am out here to date .. Not in a will date for food kind of way but to go out and have fun and hopefully meet someone absolutely wonderful. The type of guy that occiasionaly would wake me up with a cup of tea , so I could sleep in a bit, start my car in the morning if it was cold, appreciate a home cooked meal , hang out and enjoy life okay enough of that ... so tell me the skinny ...... Lay it on me I can take it

Depends a LOT on the add.....I can't tell you who to look at and when but, I will say this......there are a LOT of cool people on JSH and I think you'll find him here somewhere. Other sites suck compared to this one.....forums are a GREAT idea in here and like I said....a lot of cool, awesome people!!!

I think what makes this site special is that people in here form real friendships and real relationships. It's not like a grocery store.

yeah, talk about anything you want but, when you get ready to post, make sure it's in the right catagory or you will get moved and we might lose your topic. You have to be sure about the forum thing.....it WORKS!! It really does......you have to stay confident and believe. Plus, you'll make a lot of new friends in the process..... You'll have fun....just wait and see.....

Well, I've dabbled with about 9987 dating sites, and I can tell you that this one has the best people, by far.

One of the things that helps is the forum setup. This gives you a way to get to learn about people here, while letting them get to know more about you, when you post. A lot of sites let you put up a profile, and that's it. There's no real interaction unless you exchange e-mails, and a lot of sites charge you for that.

(JSH is free, that's another big plus!)

I have found that I get to know a lot more about a person from their forum posts, than I do from the profile. It's the forum posts, usually, that get me curious enough to go look at their profile.

Another good thing is that there are a lot of different forums. You want poetry, you want a joke, you want to read something about computers or religion or dating advice or whatever, it's all here.

And people have met their matches on JSH. I was just in another thread where one of my favorite people on the site was talking about how she met someone here.

I have been on some sites where the forums were more bloodbath than discussion. Not so here. We have the occasional flareup, and there are attention whores (more amusing than malevolent) and the sporadic rude person. Nothing is perfect.

But if you have a question, an issue, you want some feedback or advice, this is really a great place to be. As you become more familiar with the site, you'll get to know who's who, and that will help a lot with assimilating into the environment.

Most of the people here are helpful and friendly. All you really need to do is participate and take it all in.

well I am really not interested in something that just stays on line only friends sure but I really don't think that you can fall in love with someone that you never see .. you can love them or what you percieve of them just has you have love and compassion for folks you don't know - but I am looking for that person that is not afraid to experiance and explore the depth of what a grown up relationship is all about ..
