ok well been friends with this guy for over a year.. went to hang out for the 1st time. well we just really hit it off I didnt feel weird around him. he keep saying "what are we gonna do about this?" but the thing is we live alil over an hr away an he doesnt have a car cuz sum one hit it an doesnt work now. he doesnt have a job becus where he did work sold out an the new people fired everyone.. not his falt, having a hard time findin a new one. but im just lost to what he ment by "this" if anyone has a clue please let me know.. is it a guy thing??

sounds to me like he's not sure where to go with it either. It may be that he feels unsure about getting involved with someone when he's got so many other things to deal with. Like no car, no job.

"This" means that since he doesn't have a car or a job, he can't come to see you or spend money taking you out. He probably wants you to take the initiate and say, hey, don't worry, I have a car, so I can come to see you. Additionally, he also wants you to tell him not to worry about spending money on entertainment, that you will pick up the tab until he gets a job. You need to make a decision as to whether this guy is worth while, because he probably has more financial woes than he is telling you. |
