Just wondering because there's alot of enphasis now days on what your supposed to look at and alot of people buy into those "standards" I mean I don't think I'm ugly but I also don't think I'm gods gift to women. I'm comfortable with the way I look and how I percive myself. I was just wondering on the account that I was bored and didn't have to much to do so thanx everyone for yalls input.

Integrity & respect would be a great gift to a deserving woman. No one is perfect & if a girl can't see past your 1 bad eye, look into the good one & see your soul, then she isn't worth your time. Physical imperfections tend to make people more aware of other peoples true worth, & more empathetic. I wopuld date you, but I am waaaaaay to old!

my late husband had a prosthetic left hand, after losing his to a sileage cutter when he was 16. what i admired most about him in regard to that was his determination to overcome what other people saw as a disability. he didn't see it as one. in fact, after he lost his hand and was getting ready to leave the hospital, the nurse laid out his clothes and shoes, and said she'd be back in a few minutes to help him tie his shoes... when she came back, they were tied, one handed.

my point... i think being seen as different from other people often builds an inner strength that 'normal' people never find. JMO

We all have imperfections of some kind, whether seen or hidden. I don't think that should hold anybody back. The looks thing, is less important, than inner beauty. A kind, fun soul.

I like the circus freaks better myself...clowns kinda freak me out...

but back on topic... I have a huge scar on my calf, it takes up most of it, but I wear shorts and skirts... I just don't care what people think... I have had people ask me what it was and I promptly tell then it's lepracy and ask if they'd like to touch it.....

If you are comfortable with it, the people around you will be too. If someone won't date you because of it... is that the kind of character you want in a person anyway? For me...NO.

laugh laugh I am always doing stuff like that, I all the time get people staring at me because I am in a wheelchair and am very independent. Everytime I am out shopping or whatever and see someone watching me like a hawk, I just wave hello. They usually just give me a dirty or confused look and quickly turn away as if I had given them "the finger". laugh laugh laugh

you know this is always an intriguing question for me! I see people ask for brains, money, looks, and whole list of others. so why is it only offensive if it's looks or money? why is okay to discriminate against someone that is not that smart? because its all crap thats why! usually if a person is attempting to date outside of there capabilities they become bitter and resentful! so all this shallow talk is a little hypocritical! If someone was willing to lower there standards they would meet tons of people of the opposite sex reagardless of their looks! so maybe the accusers are equally guilty?
