Sharon, I am so there Couple of really good places in WV. I'd love to do the Colorado someday but the waiting lists are enormous. And when they call, you go!

Yeah, I took the kids to a place in WV a few years back. Fell in love with it. Unfortunately my son fell in though. Wonder if he's forgiven me for that one yet, lol

LOL, my son hasn't fallen in yet, but the biggest he's done was a low class 3 and the river was low that day. He's jumped out, been pushed out, but never fallen

Happens a lot, easy to lose your balance when you're going every which way. The Gauley's good, probably one of the better ones, the Cheat's good too.

Which outfitter do you usually go with? I don't have a particular one, have used several over the years. But, if people are serious, we can put something together. I'm not camping though, unless the place has cabins with indoor plumbing and electricity
