I would not say you are unattractive. I would say your photos are not very flattering, they are grainy and in bad light. You state you are unwilling to leave Missouri- since you are adamant about this maybe you should say why. Also, I saw you are a minister and seem concerned people think you can't have fun. I would suggest leaving out a lot about religion.... that is a turn off for me. It is a personal thing and I'm glad to see that people are religious, but in your profile it is a bit over the top. I say this time and time again, write for the reader!!

It is my opinion that you could tone it down then. As a reader, it sounds defensive and angry. ESPECIALLY THE ALL CAPS PART!

There are alot of Christians on this site. I guess the first thought is wow...minister's wife...its a bit intimidating.
People always say that when you capitalize its like you're shouting at them. Could you maybe take down the caps and say while I am a minister...regular guy...bowl...movies..jog... Whats the fun side of you, whats makes you laugh. What do you value most honesty, friendliness.... I'd also want to know who the young lady on your shoulder. Thats my daughter....??? I've seen you give really good thoughts or advice on a couple of threads.. Good luck  |

SMILE for goodness sake. You promote your faith (and I'm a Christian too) but you don't LOOK happy. Sorry but it's a turnoff.
And let people find out more about your faith by talking to you. I agree w/lilith .. it's hard when it's put out there to a big degree. I know your faith means a lot to you (& that's great) but one mention is as good as multiple mentions ) |
