I dated a woman 16 years older (24 and 40), but I generally prefer younger. Only because I won't date anyone with kids, and the older ones always seem to have them. For me, it's more about reproductive demographics than "age," per se.

to me age doesnt matter as long as 2 people care about each other and know whats important in life..such as age isnt..I have dated a guy that was 16 yrs older than me and we hit if off great..

Age wouldn't bother me. My last g/f was 7yrs older than me. I'd go 10 to 15 yrs age differance as long as we were compatible.

How many people out there would date someone 5, 10, 15 years older than themselves? The oldest I'd date is about 10 years older than myself.

my personal preference is -5 to +5 age difference. I might make an exception if we are compatible.

You're so bad bad_girl! My dad was 12yrs older than my mom and it worked great for them...so it seems to run in the family (attraction to older men) Hence the name. But younger is the way to go. Last guy I went out with that was older than me wanted to go home after dinner (and I mean to sleep). Nope, younger for me.

I've gone 15 years older. I think it's a bigger challenge when you're younger (18-20's) because you're at different stages in life.
