I seem to be stuck in a trend with girls. I am always told the following 3 things:

1.) You are the type of guy we want to marry, but we aren't ready for that yet.
2.) You are like an older brother to me.
3.) Girls are just stupid.

If I am told all of these things, and girls and recognize it, why am I, and have I always been, single? I mean, i've done nothing with a girl because I am waiting to find someone worth sharing with (and I am trying to hold out until marriage for sex...just a personal moral of mine)

Well paul life is sort of like up and down spirals. Sometimes what we want does not happen at that moment but instead when we do not expect it. I know that I used to think I want to save myself sexually for the right girl but it did not happen that way unfortunately. The best advice I can give to you is do not worry about what sort of things people think about you rather just be you even though it is easier said than done. And listen bro, I know things can get real miserable and it is easy to be constantly uneasy and unhappy.

Well that shouldn't be anything to be worried about you will find the right girl who has the same morals as you and also you are very attractive too so you will find your special lady soon enough. It might not be for a couple of months or even a couple of years but you will find her!!! Best of luck to you as well

Yea, I think that is my problem. Even though I have never had a relationship, I am looking for a mature one. I have lived around all of the teeny-bopper ones for way to long and realize how stupid and immature, not to mentioned drama based, that they are. I seems that my own maturity level is more or less a curse at this point in life hahaha

i can relate cause all my friends are older than me so in a sense i am mature well beyond my years as well which hurts my social life in a way i am imagining

yup I know how you feel. I do want a guy that is closer to my age, but that is probably never gonna happen. That is why I'm willing to settle with an older guy

pj5834, I was once in the same boat as you, believe it or not. In fact, I musthave been a hundred times worse off than you when I was in... middle school. I would only have female friends who told me that they "loved me like a brother" and always gave me the LJBF line (lets just be friends - sound familiar?). I was the proverbial "nice guy" that juat failed to be sexually attractive. Hell, dude... I was f*cking depressed out of my f*cking mind!
