I have noticed on many profiles that most women have all men as friends and most men have only women as friends. I have asked females to be friend but i guess they think i am hitting on them. what's up with that??

My roommate didn't want me to put her down as a friend because she thinks others will think we are gay or bi. Maybe others think this way too?

I have one female friend on my list- but i just don't have alot of female friends- and i have no reason why.

I don't have a problem with it- just doesn't happen.

I have both and I'm straight. I think people fear that a wrong impression may be given. Don't know for sure, but it's my guess.

I don't think this site is a active as it says it is... Eh... were out there, if they don't want us... we didn't need them anyway... thats how I look at it.

Its kind of funny that you asked that because on your filters you have that you have to be a male to email you!!!

if you want to get friend requests from girls,
you should change your msg preferences.

& YES! I have many wonderful friends alot not even on my list.
Many have come & gone or busy now in their lives & I would never delete them.

MIDNIGHTRUNON411 First off, welcome! I've been here for quite a while and have participated in the forums. I have made many friends of both genders.........give it some time and dont worry what others might or might not think.

As you make friends in the forums, you will have friends of both genders. I know this is primarily a dating site, but it has become more than that and many people come here just to be around thier friends.

To tell you the truth if they have alot of friends, I pass them by, not because intimidated or anything, its just how would I be any better than the ones already there... ya know. I'm smart and all but i'm not going to step on anyones toes to get to a woman I think is interesting.

I always wonder if someone has 200 friends..how does that person really keep in contact with all of those people? I don't just accept anyone's invitation to be on their friends list..I have to talk to them for awhile and we have to have something in common! I don't want to be just another number on someone's list that they never talk to!!
When I see that someone has both male and female on their list, I don't even question their sexuality. I just figure they are a friendly person and they get along with everyone.

I think WE should ALL have FRIENDS,,,and if FRIENDS our what you seek?
It should be a mix.
But if your just wanting to meet the other sex,,then your friends will only be one sex, mostly?

It use to be a way of feeling what that person was about,like,,,,. A dude with 2oo lady friends only in less than 6 months, I would think a movie star or a player,lol just me,,.
And if a lady had 200 male only friends in that less than 6 month thing.
I would also think the same. BUT THAT MY THOUGHTS ONLY,,ok.

But FRIENDS should always just be someone who likes the other for what their mind and voice are all about, the sex, shouldn't be a factor to ME..
