Ok, so let's weigh this out real quick: Afghanistan (you know Osama, terrorist/al Qaeda) troop count in country less than 50,000 (much less). Troop count in Iraq (Saddam, no proven/known threat and yet to find one) over 150,000.

So given the risk and potential danger/threat I think we really screwed that one up, I'm not making any of these stats up. We moved into Iraq initially for WMD's (yet to be found, more probable never existed) on the other hand Korea has WMD's and has fired them although not in a threatning manner. Second reason we went to Iraq, Saddam was financially helping terrorists (best reason out of the bunch I still have) albeit perhaps we should have went for the terrorists first seeing as they are directly responsible for 9/11 whereas Saddam is indirectly (although not proven). Third reason we went into Iraq, the genocide of the people under Saddam's rule in the 1980's (also a good reason, but we should work on priorities first). Fourth reason we went into Iraq (debatable) oil.

So persay that Iraq was in fact a clear and present danger which the intelligence has failed to prove consistantly, would that not mean that Afghanistan is a more at risk danger than Iraq? If so, why did we have a major troop surge out of Afghanistan and into Iraq? I'm not trying to sway what you believe as I in no way can, all I am doing is bringing up facts that go against what has been said.

If "people" are against abortions are those same "people against wars? Why can't an individual also "chose to be put to"sleep" when death is inevitable and that person choses to be spared the agony of pain and cost instead of "milking every penny from them and or their families, and make a conscious decision accordingly to their own wishes? Where are these Do-gooders? the girl on the pill unless she plans for a baby, "No" bloodshed should be "No" bloodshed and suffering a slow painful death could & should be eliminated.Pro-life =antiwar. Keeping senior adults alive with NO quality of life ? I believe in choices. PEACE OUT

The child being aborted does not choose to die, nor does the child being bombed.

I'm pro life, yet I'm currently deployed... consider that ;)

Soemtimes in order to protect life (yours or those you care about) yuo have to fight back which when done on a massive scale (wars being a massive scale) is going tomean deaths in the end.
however, if you do NOT fight back soemtimes, think about how many more will die because you didnt fight back.

Only so much can be done, most you can do is send a letter to a senator and see if anything gets done...or you can arrange a march, but this requires hundereds of like minded individuals to march with you it also requires permits and several arrangements to be made with law enforcement.

Have done things, still doing things, will continue doing things. Thanks for asking, was waiting for this question to pop up.

The key word to Activism is Active isn't it?

Would like to hear from the anti-choice people who have argued the loudest as to what they are currently doing for their cause. I mean you know besides pontificating and whining about it.

yes, actually I have spoken at several different high schools about the importance of not only abstaining until you are ready for the responsibilities of having a sexual relationship (pregnancy only being one of many), but also the importance in birth control and other forms of sexual protection.

I have spoken about how there are many choices that one can make, and that in the end only each individual can choose wether or not they want to be sexualy active.

And these high schools that you spoke at, how did they find you in order for you to speak at them, and what sort of background do you have that makes you qualified to speak to high school students about these topics?

Go through less trouble and express your concern to your local senate, you can still speak at schools if you would like but if you really want anything to happen you have to go for the action instead of spreading the word.

You would be suprised at how much a simple letter to senate can do.
