i didnt even know what a scaphoid bone was but after a week of bad wrist and arm pain i went to the ER. i broke that bone
 it is the bone like below your thumb joint and it hurts like a biatch!!! i am in a temp. cast and have to see the ortho. doc within a week for a diff. one. does anyone have any clue how hard it is to not use one of your thumbs?

Yeah, on the hand i write with. Was sparring with a buddy of mine and i went to flat hand block a kick and he hyperextended my thumb. I was in a splint for 2 weeks.

and why do they call it a snuff-box fracture because it is a common grip for location on the thumb of a snuff box when you pack it! |
