I live in NorthEast Pa and last year a High School took down the
american flag and replaced it with a confederate flag. This got him
Expelled. This year all the schools in that district enforced a strict
dress code and put up metal detectors in the doorways. Only allowing
clear plastic purses or backpacks. What do you think happened a couple
days ago in the school district right next to them.

A 15 year old kid calls some friends on the telephone and says he is
planning on killing his entire family and everyone in the school the
next day advising them not to go to school the next day. Then he gets on
his pc and emails the same warning to like 25 others before the Police
arrive at his house and arrest him for making Terroristic threats. The
way the laws read these days anything having to do with terrorism can
have the death penalty although he will probably only get counciling and
probation unless he has a previous record.

I had to share this with somebody as I was pretty shocked when I heard
it considering the school in question is rated in the top 10 in the
country for academic excellence.

that's interesting kevin because it is becoming more frequesnt but it
doesn't have anything to do with academic excellence, people are
confused and hurt everywhere

i've met kids that are poor and are out on the street that are less
messed up than some of the kids that had well to do families.

I hear you there but that school is in a very well to do area one of
our nations winter tourist attractions the poconos only a few miles from
Tanglewood ski resort in fact.

Money and position have nothing to do with mental health. Aggressive
emotions don't look at social status.

true and very well said I just see those kids with blinders on I guess
they all look so innocent. And most of them grow up with a deep respect
for guns with all the hunting going on around here.
