I am currently seeking a professional teaching position somwhere so I just might someday!

Caution to some on here though.
Make sure you have a backup plan in place. I have come across people who are not ( to be nice) what they seem to be. |

So true, but if you don't travel to meet the person how would you know that the person is not "the" one ?
And as for it not working out, it could happen with you meeting someone from your own home town |

I had a woman fly to my town for a 4 days. It turned out to be a total nightmare. Her pictures were not representitive of what she currently looked like at the time and she was much older than what she led me to beleive. It was a disaster So sorry you had a bad experience, but we are all not like that.

I would walk to CA if I had to. I would do anything for recentfree.

California and Washington state are really sounding good to me.
OOOOOOpppppppps. Forgot Missouri & Oklahoma Have met some really nice Ladies online from these four states. |

My sentiments as well, I also look at it this way, you meet someone, whether it be on the internet or where you live, the first steps is to be honest, be prepered to compromise retain an open mind and yes, do state what your likes and dislikes are and above all else be true to yourself and who you are...............be a grown up! |

I'm retired and travel on a whim alot anyways...nothing new for me to hop a plane just to go say "hi" and have dinner or a night out on the town.
Alot of new friends out there if your not just concentrating on finding "the one" |

So far out of the 8 trips only 1 has been untrue. Not bad odds.
My next trip is in Illinois. The world is one huge back yard. Plant some seeds and watch what grows. |

I would. I have driven 13 hours to be with someone in the past, and it lasted for 4 years. We parted mutually due to personal issues we both stumble upon. We to this day are still friends, and she is getting married this year.
