Wow thats a tough question!! I guess the question is this, did he/she tell the person they were dating that they were expecting a baby? If not, then they started the relationship off with a lie!! I honestly do not think I would want involved in anything like that. I think there is just to much drama involved esp. when a brand new baby is involved. I think I would step back and maybe they could work things out. My boys are now 13 and 19, I actually just sent my first son off to college so I don't think I really want to start over with children. I love kids don't get me wrong, but I prefer men that have children in the same age group or someone that doesn't have brand new babies!! I have no drama in my life and I prefer to keep it that way....nope I don't think I would get involved. I found out after we were already dating. The person I am seeing is somewhat ok with it... It just got me thinking with all the possible jealousy involved. OK you are going to be a father? Or she is going to have a baby by someone else? I am the lucky father Wow..its going to be hard on the current gf. If you honestly didn't know then really its not your fault. If you truly love your current gf and she loves you, I am sure you can work through this. Do you think that you and the babies mom could ever get back together? If so, that would be the best thing BUT never get back together for the baby!! Its hard enough to live with someone when you love them let alone when you don't!!! |

i think t takes a special person to make that kind of commitment ..and why shouldnt it work out...you have to take a chance and try or it will always be what if ..

and your over thinking the question, to be honest if you wont date them because they are expecting, then there better off without a lov them or leave them person, because the mom/dad need someone to help them too, just because you have a kid with someone doesnt mean you "have" to marry them thats the worst reason to marry
if you like the person support them, hell if you can make through the 9 months with a pregnant woman your a keeper  espically if the kids not yours |

and your over thinking the question, to be honest if you wont date them because they are expecting, then there better off without a lov them or leave them person, because the mom/dad need someone to help them too, just because you have a kid with someone doesnt mean you "have" to marry them thats the worst reason to marry if you like the person support them, hell if you can make through the 9 months with a pregnant woman your a keeper espically if the kids not yours I don't like the person at all anymore. I don't want the kid affected though, which is why I want to be there in whatever way I can. |
