Little to show,
and nothing to say,
its sad to think that I have come all this way.
So many expectations,
tied into only dreams,
it hurts to know that they are still all the same.
Thinking day after day,
maybe it will be,
maybe today will be the day that brings change.
Look up at the sky and see beautiful things,
just to know that they are in reach,
wiggle your fingers
stretch so very far
to know that nothing really there at all.
To want and not get,
one of lifes many gifts.
It makes you strong thats what they all say,
when ion reality it just makes all those dreams,
slowly slip away.
