Too bad we havent even had sex. He thinks thats part of my problem. That I am too uptight and just need to get laid. I just dont think that is going to solve the problem....ohwell

Maybe the beast in you that he brings out is really your gut telling you hes not a good one for you. Dont fall for this bs he's giving you about needing to get laid...geez

I'm not young and niave. I'm not falling for that one. Its my choice that we are not having sex.

Good for you! Seriously, if you feel this way so early in a relationship, its not good. Find someone else.

...So my thought is do I try to stay and make it work or do I walk away before the emotions get involved?

Not even close. I would not let it get that far or that out of hand in the first place. I just thought maybe there is a way to get him to stop being so irritating. I know thats not the most realistic attitude but it was just a thought!

Sometimes I do wonder if its not just me. I think I could seriosly be a committment phobe now. I had a really bad relationship about 3 years ago with an end result of me raising a child on my own. Thats the shortest version there is but a lot of details are being left out. Since then I have dated guys that were "safe". Committment phobes or whatever their issues were so that things never got real serious. Now here is a guy that wants to have something serious and wants it with me. So, maybe I am just feeling this way to chase him off...Hell who knows!

If you're feeling this way to chase him off, and you TRULY feel -deep down inside- that you're not ready, be honest with him and cut him loose now. It's not fair to him to sit there thinking everything is okay and not knowing you wanna beat the hell out of him every time he speaks. Be honest with yourself, first. That's the starting point. BOL! If there's problems now, marriage is like a microscope and it will just enhance and become worse.
