This reminds me of my initiation into the Soccer team, when we moved up from California.

Vics is nothing.

In any sports medicine facility or trainers room.. you can find a big plastic jar of something that will cause chemical burns if you rub it on your arm..let alone more sensitive tissue. As far as I know...there is no antidote other than time.

Well.. a few of the guys decided it would be fun to dose my jock strap with the stuff. Having just come from the trainers room with a knee wrap and some of this under the tape.. I could not smell it.. It's not like I was going to stick my nose in my jock strap to make sure no one messed with it...

The sensation got unbearable within about 5 minutes.

To make a long story short.. I spent practice that day taking a long cold shower.

30 years later... I can laugh about it.

It's just below freezing here and snowing lightly in southern BC. Way nicer than Alberta I'm sure.
