Is there offsides in football? I don't think so... Defensively there is encroachment, or unabated to the quarterback. There's Neutral zone infractions for either team. Or there's false start for the offense. I guess neutral zone infractions and offsides get interchanged sometimes? E.g. "lining up offsides"

answer is when a player steps out of bounds it called offside.
