or any military? goddamn it sucks but ill live my question though does it get better after i gain rank or no? |

haha i wish its the infantry way to get smoked in the morning, noon and night we do all the gay crap, but we complain the whole way haha its all good i guess gotta learn to be more of an optimist in the morning |

air force here...
really dont mind it 
but i didnt like boot or tech school but alas operational air force isnt bad but the base im with my job is supposedly one of the better assignment for newbies

It gets better with time, and as you progress in rank. Just don't give anyone a reason to mess with you, and try not to make the same mistake twice. Do everything your supervisor tells you to do, and more. Aim to impress. Polish the sh*t out of your boots so you make the NCO's boots look like garbage. But, don't verbalize anything you do to make yourself look better, just simply to it, and it will be noticed. Good luck.

I never been in the military myself, but was an air force wife for 13 years, I also have a son in the army.
Judging from your age you have not been enlisted very long. Hang in there things will get better with time and rank. Where are you stationed yet?

we dont shine boots anymore because we use the ACU's now and not the BDU's
we have different combat boots and i dont mouth off but my platoon sergeant likes to give me hell i dont know why |

Sometimes people will give you hell just to see how you react. And sometimes if the NCO's like you, they'll give you more sh*t than other people. I know that seems backwards, but that's how it is sometimes. As long as you're not a POS, you'll do fine. Everyone was an FNG at one time...
