I guess the thing that was confusing me was how everyone seemed to relate to others as though they were long time friends and sometimes I have felt out of the loop. jump right in there sweetie...here grab my arm..ill lead the way

Ive exchanged xmas gifts.....talked on the phone.....text messaged......skyped alot of people from here......but no one has the guts to meet me yet!!     WELL it IS hard to gain permission into a female prison!!!!!  ,,,,lol,,,lol,,,lol    But I still lov ya...

i've been on 2-3 weeks and met two local people here already, face to face. both good people.

In about 10 days I will celebrate my 1 year anniversary here on JSH. There are few people I know and alot of people I am acquainted with but don't really know. I'm wondering how many people really KNOW the people they are socializing with or don't you really want to know them. I hope this don't sound confusing

I know a few-
I want to meet them someday. Must admit I don't know them all- some I only know through their writtings here. Odds are we probbley will never know all the ones we meet in here. Its kind of sad.

I've never met anyone face to face on here, but there are 4 or 5 people on my friends list that I can call anytime I need to, and they can call me too... I have spent hours upon hours getting to know them, and I can honestly say I love my JSH friends! They have gotten me through some pretty hard times, and they really don't know how much they mean to me.

I know how wonderful people are and have been on here. It still puts me in awe of how everyone is....sure there is drama once in awhile but there seems to be these connections that are just instantanious..

My year on here I have posted to TRY and meet my friends on here, or anyone willing to have a cup of coffee with me. Only met three people who even REALLY wanted to do that?? |

I mean c'mon theres only so many miles I can feasably travel just to meet somebody for the first time.

I guess I was alittle confusing, I didn't mean knowing them in person, I meant knowing who they are from online. Cause I know people are from all over but still they seem to be "close"

The only one I know in person is Gem, and she and I knew each other long before either of us was on this site.
But Whispertoascream and I have spent a lot of time talking on IM and on the phone and have even exchanged birthday presents through the mail. She is the only person who has read every story I've written up till now. And there are several others I would very much like to meet in person someday -- but they are all so far away! |

well I do feel very "close" to my online friends...just because they arent with me physically I still feel their pain, laughter, etc......like I said I can feel their "energy"...ya I know that sounds weird
