I've been waiting for a good western and the idea of Russell Crowe being in one made the wait seem longer. It turns out that wait was the short one.

In preparation for the viewing, I rented the original 1957 (?) 3:10 to Yuma with Glenn Ford and watched it the night before. Fabulous movie - Ford is outstanding.

I'll make this brief: I couldn't even finish the new one - think I'd rather sniff baby kaka than try to get through it again. I rate it 2 turds flushed.

I liked it. Westerns were after my time, but I thought it was good

Thanks for the review...I'm always glad to save my $10 rather than see a movie which turns out to be awful.

It had its good parts

I had and have heard a lot of good about the movie. Perhaps if I had seen it first, I wouldn't have thought so much of the original and so little of the remake.

But, in this case, I don't think so. Glenn Ford is (was) really something.

It's hard to watch a remake after seeing the orginal
sure movies today can do alot of special effects but the movies of the past had more substance to them.
I have not seen the orginal of 3:10 to Yuma but I did like this movie's plot it was a movie to watch would I watch it again?...... no

Young, good-lookin', artistic, and knows a good western. Ladies, better keep an eye on him.

Read your bio earlier - I'd a guessed you'd know a good movie.
