 Awww Jenny thats why I never say this year has to be better then last year, because things can happen and it can get worse!! Hopefully you have seen the bad parts and things only get better from now on. You are so right, there are lots of people that do have have it worse then you...but I know it just feels like its all caving in on you at once when its happening to you!! Just keep your chin up and I am sure it will get better!!

On New Years Eve, a friend of mine told me that she watched the Montel Williams show, which Sylvia Brown was on. She being the great psycic she is said that 2008 was going to be a great year. She explained that even number years are always better then the odd. I most certainly hope that it happens soon. I am right there with you for the bad luck. So far this year, I have been in the hospital, my grandfather is currently in there, and I have been having major car problems. It is my expirence that the even years have been hell, and the odd years have not been great either...  I really am hoping that all of our lucks change for the better soon. I'm not sure how much more heartache and stress I can take! Good luck to you in your upcoming months, and I hope that you get to be feeling better soon! |

Hey Jenny..just had to share because my thoughts on the new year were the same..new start..let go of the old...so my own little bad luck new year story.
End of a wonderful night. Fridge full. Took the crockpot full of boiling BBQ sauce, meatballs and weiners..Ah, Ill just stick it on the porch. Porch has been wet all night. Stepped out on the porch..foot slid on the NOW black ice. Now..Im wearing nothing but a fluffy white bathrobe. Up in the air..entire contents of crock pot all over my right leg..possibly a very funny sight, BUT..no one to see, lucky for me..stripped..got as much off my leg as possible..MAN can I move fast sometimes...LOL..showered..leg burnt from top of my thigh to under my knee. I took aloe vera plant..sliced it in half and used pieces of the plant and medical tape to cover everywhere we thought was burnt. In the am...all aloed parts look fine..where I missed? 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Plus..find out after..whiplash and concussion..(you dont feel your 3 point landing, head, ass and elbow..when burning sugar coats your leg)...Im very very lucky..seen burns like mine and the aloe vera was amazing..(I went and bought three more plants). My best friends boyfriend of 5 months beat her up, she went to the hospital..(never a sign he was abusive..honestly). Happy NEW YEAR! Im hoping the bad stuff is done...my leg healing my concussion better...she is healing physically.... Anyway...heres my wishes to you for better days... Im asking for the best..hoping for it too. jesus..im not the only one then that has bad luck eh? sorry to hear about that and hope it doesnt leave any nasty scares hun.lets hope all the bad luck is behind us.and whats more be nice if we could meet that someone special on here lol x

I totaled my car about a year ago, my ribs finally stopped hurting, but on cold days my knee still kills me. I get a little "pimp" walk when it's cold now.
It costed me over 10 grand, I only paid 5 grand back so that I could drive again, the other five isn't goign to get paid. |

Huh... Well, best wishes to you too. Some scarring, but nothing compared to what it could have been. I will still be able to show my legs without feeling scary....  Heres to a better stuff coming.... At this point I will just be happy with making some new friends!!!! (not giving up..just decided to let it go for a bit...) |
