Mmm...well, first I suppose I should say I don't live in Florida nor close to Plant City, FL, but I stopped by your profile and I've only got a couple things to say hon. :)

Don't worry about being 23 and never having had a gf :P My younger brother is 23 and he just got engaged to his first and only girlfriend. He just hadn't met anyone before that he felt interested in enough to date.

Secondly, you shouldn't ever be "willing to change" who you are for anyone. This only leads to feelings of resentment and discontent (later than sooner, in most cases) because you no longer feel like you know who you are or what it is that you want out of life. Obviously I'm not talking about not changing little habits, like leaving the wet towels on the floor instead of the laundry hamper. Naturally some things are up for debate lol But if you go into a relationship with a strong sense of who you are and what you want out of life you'll make you, and your significant other, much happier in the long run. Discuss things and compromise on them, but don't compromise yourself in the process -OR- ask her to compromise herself either.

*hugs* Best of luck to you!

I second that... I learned real quick how to pick up the towels... but yea 3 1/2 years going through hell to make her happy - not such a great idea... I would rather be single for the rest of my life than go through that again.
