telling someone something means far less then showing it to them. Those
words shoud not even need to be spoken (although they are highly
reccomended in real life). When you really love someone and they love
you as well. They will see it in all your actions and thoughts as you
should in theirs.

if you been with hime five months he already knows just let it be dont
scare him away an if he doesnt say it back dont mean he dont just may be
scared to say he does alot of times when a man says it back like taking
a leap of faith that we men are scared of i wont say it till i am sure
she is going to stay for ever an that she as well as me can over look
alot of the little things that just dont make a damn cause seems like as
soon as i hear these words i love u is when all hell is getting ready to
break loose on me an it sucks sorry just my expereinces.

that all depends on the guy. i prefer people be upfront and honest about
their feelings but some guys don't like it when women say it too
quickly. just go with what you feel and leave everything else up to
chance and see how it goes.

If your actions reflect it and you show you care, why do you NEED to say
it?

What will be gained by actually saying it?

Actions speak louder than words.....

ex bitched about not hearing it enough.seemed acward to say it back
right after her cause it just seemed repatishous or the thing to do
rather than say it out of the blue for the effect of meaning it.if i
said it after her she bitched that i said it just cause she did.just
cant win

BillRoot...Your Ex sounds like one of those people that replaces the
actions of showing Love & affection with just saying "I love you"?

Well, if you've been in a longer relationship, I would agree
with that Morena, and to be REAL, on this subject,,,,

The words "I LOVE YOU", are reserved from my use.....for some
time in the start of any relathionship......

They do not COME out of me very easy at all!!!!
I have to FEEL, that she is going to be with me for a while
and that WE BOTH ARE OF THE SAME ON GIVING OF EACH OTHER!!!!

Then I "still" would prefer to "hear" those words,
come from "her" first, but if I felt really strong of
her commitment to me, I could tell her first.

I can drop 'I love you', all day long to friends and family,
without batting an eye. But with my lover, IT IS PUT-OFF!!

Anybody else feel this way???? Or is it just a 'me' issue???
