My first passenger ride was on a 1947 Indian Chief and I never recovered. My first new bike was a 1967 Yamaha YR-1 350. Got me a chopped 1942 Harley 45 (ape hanger style) in my senior year - suicide clutch and all. Someone stole it when I joined the Navy. I recently HAD to sell my bikes on Ebay - the last one just a few months ago (all antiques but one). Had lotsa bikes and lotsa wrecks.

I have'nt rode in years! Had a bad wreck years back... kind of stayed off them since. Indian chief SWEET!!!

My old man had a 49 indian - said it was like riding a missile. He loved it.

been riding for 29 years, no wrecks.............. Dang, I've had more than 29 wrecks! Nobody ever 'cused me of being smart or careful.

YOU HAD A 42' NUCKLE? YOU'VE GOT MY RESPECT, AND MY SYMPATHY, THAT SUCKS. I HAD A RAT-BIKE STOLEN IN ORLANDO, AND WAS UPSET ABOUT IT FOR YEARS. I'VE GOT A 78' SHOVEL AND AN IRON HORSE 05' CHOPPER NOW, SO I'M MUCH HAPPIER AND IT'S GOOD TO BE IN THE WIND AGAIN.
