More news about Tat, and for those that dont know what I am talking about Tat, was the Cat shot DEAD at the San Francisco Zoo 2 weeks ago. Daily logs about those happier times were released this week as part of a public records request - Tatiana's first recorded weight was 9 lbs 9 oz; diet meatballs were used to train her to stay calm during vaccinations. The records also included her necropsy report - three bullet wounds were found on her body; she weighed 243 pounds when she died. if any one, other then me has been watching this story, you will note when the story first broke she weighed 300, then a week later she was 350, last reports put her in at 400 and one said 500. One would think that newspapers sell by blustering an event. think about this the next time you read an article, that makes you go huhhh?

She was 21yr old, Born at the SD wild animal park. She had a crooked neck. I guess at a yr or so old she started getting a kink in it. it said she looked like she swallowed a hockey stick. she was loosing wght. & then stopped eating.. poor girl. it was in this last weeks paper. The SGV Tribune.

elephant seal "Big" was brought into mammal center for injury to his left eye caused by someone stabbing him in his head. doctor preforms surgery to repair damaga. ele seal recovers from injury well then dies one month later due to cysts that develop from sites where dirty needles were used to provide pain meds and antibiotics the cysts were untreated and swelled with infection causing many of them to become the size of a silver dollar, at least 15 covered the seals lower half.... A marine mammal brought into a rehab center for surgury and had recovered never should have died from infections that were caused and should have been treated by the center...... Rest in Peace.."Big"....my marine mammal baby.....pic on my profile

This must be a common occurrence for giraffes about 15 years ago I remember a case like this at the Washington D.C Zoo But then again what do expect from a animal with that much throat? my prayers go out to her, yet I also am the guy making dead baby jokes here last week. ahh the dichotomy.
