I'd like to know who has traveled to meet someone they thought interesting on here. How far? How did you travel? What did you do? How did it go? Yes, 120 mi. FRED (my truck) went to diner, shot pool, watch tv , talked , etc.... pretty good , very nice lady

He lives in Idaho and I live on Long Island NY. He was coming east to Baltimore and asked if I would like to join him there. Of course I went, and the sparks flew!!
 But more than sparks, he stole my heart and replaced it with his own. I spent Thanksgiving with him and his family, and he is coming to NY next month to meet my family and to talk to my Dad (*sigh* old-fashioned romantic!!) Oh, and met a few others and talked on the phone to a lot more!! |

OK..scratch that...trip cancelled.   Hey you two, first "tiff" already? Should make the "make-up" actvities really interesting. Nah, she got "cold feet" for some reason. So did not want her to feel uncomfortable, so cancelled the flight. So goes life at times.

I'm sorry to hear that. I agree, so goes life. But better both people be in feet first than the other sitting on the edge.
I know I'm more than ready to jump in this Sunday. I'm very psyched about it. The weather is supposed to be freezing cold, which I hope means a lot of "snuggling up to a good movie" that will not be watched. So I guess I should say snuggling up to any movie. The movie quality I'm not going to be discriminating about.  Keep us posted on your interests though, okay? |

yup. i met a WONDERFUL guy on here...needless to say, it went really well. we talk all the time, see each other as much as we can, and i am going to see him this weekend. he is only about 2 hours away so it's not that bad. we have been together for a little over three months now.
