Jesus never doubted that Satan is the ruler of this world. Satan showed
Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. He then promised Jesus, " All these
things I will give you if you fall down and worship me". (Matthew 4:8-9,
Luke 4:5,6.)THINK ABOUT THIS.. would this offer to Jesus ben possible if
Satan is not the ruler of these Kingdoms? Jesua did not deny tht satan
was the ruler of these worldly governments. Surely Jesus would have done
this if Satan was not the power behind them.
oF COURSE, Jehova God is the creatoe of this world, and the entire
universe. ( revelation 4:11) yet nowhere does the bible say that either
God or Jesus is currently the ruler of this world. In Fact, Jesus
refered to Satan as " the ruler of this world". (John 12:31, 14: 30,
16:11) The bible refers to satan as "the god of this system of things."
(2 corinthians 4:3,4)
Regarding the opposer, or satan, John wrote"the whole world is lying
in the power of the wicked one" 1 John 5:19

PART 2- How Satans worls will be removed.
The world is becoming more and more dangerous. It is overrun with
warring armies, dishonest politicians, hypocritial religious leaders,
and hardened criminals. The worls as a whole sema beyond reform. Th
bible reveals that a time is comming when God will eliminate the wicked
of the world during his war of Armageddon. This will set the stage for a
righteous new world.- Revelation 16: 14-16.
Jehova God selected Jesus to be the ruler of this kingdom, or Heavenly
Government. Long ago, the Bible foretold: "unto us a child is born, unto
us a son is given: and the governments will be upon his shoulder: and he
shall be called the prince of peace. Of the increase of this government
and peace there shall be no end." (Isiah 9: 6,7) Regarding this new
Government , Jesus taught his followers to pray: "Let your kingdom come.
let you take yor place as in heaven also as on the earth." (Matthew
6:10)
Just as the bible shows, Gods kingdom will soon remove all the worldly
governments, and itself replace all of them with a perfect Godly system.
(Daniel 2:44) Gods Kindgon will usher in an earthly paradise.
Deuteronomy 28 shows the joys and benefits of following Gods laws, and
the result of following our own way. I would suggest reading this
chapter, it is quite illuminating, and as true in our time as when it
was written. I think the botom line is this: We as a society and as a
people have failed to follow Gods laws and teachings, and our mess its a
result of this unwillingness to follow Him, in favor of our own,
destructive courses of action. The enitre Old testament is chocked full
of examples of societies and people who at first followed Gods laws,
Then once blessed and fattened fell away, and soon faced destruction.
Guess what... were next.

Rambill, you do realize that Christianity and the bible that comes with
it is pre-dated by pagan faiths by about 30,000 years - right? Satan was
not referred to in ANY literature previous to Christianity. Interesting
theories though. Have you ever studied "outside" of the box? Just
curious. No offense intended Rambill. I am non-Christian not
anti-Christian. I am not anti-any religion.

day one. way before man even existed.
are you a pool shooter? we shoot threeball every friday nite. I once
shot a two... and lost. another player put them all in on the break. We
have am 8 foot connoly Billiards table in our clubhouse. its a really
nice table and it spoils me for when I shoot at someone elses house.

I have studied mose every religion and belief on the block. What I see
in the bible is God is gOD OF ACTION. hE DOES THINGS ALL THE TIME.
These other belief systems are for inner growth, ect but the God of the
bible interacts with the people, and not always with the devout either.
I have witnessed with my own eyes prayers answered within minutes of the
prayer. There is simply no other belief system that can claim that. I
have been in a hopeless situation and prayed, and within minutes i was
covered with an inner peace. A voice said to me dont worry Im driving,
and this was followed by the most impossible things hapening that were
totally out of my control. These expierences show me, along with
scientific evidence that there is in fact one true God. There is also
satan. The bible says quite clearly that anything that is not of christ
is in fact antichrist. There is a lot of truth in all these other
beliefs, but think of this... if i gave you a glass that was 98 percent
orange juice and 2 percent poison, would you consider this good enough
to drink???? I am looking for 100% truth and the only place i have found
it is in the bible.

Thanks Ghost. Once again you leaving me laughing my ass off. I have told
Rambill before in this and other threads, you can voice your opinions
without pissing off everyone that may believe differently. Thanks again
for your input. You and I are alot alike - we like to make people think
AND we like to argue intelligently. I guess "God" almighty wrote the
bible because there were people on this earth to give birth to Jesus
Christ and that is historical fact!
Rambill, not all literature on any subject out there is necessarily
factual in nature. Even in my faith. Too much left to human
interpretation. Even the King James bible has been rehashed by people
over the years so what do you follow? The original was in Arameic and I
have yet to see that one.

And Ghost is correct on the swastika as well. Symbols have only the
meaning that an individual assigns to it.

Actually the origional bible texts are in Hebrew and Greek, and I
have both. As I have said before, Various interpetations are slightly
different. A good example in the KJV is Thou shalt not Kill. A better
interpetation would be Thou shalt not murder. I am aware of these
differences and find them for the most part to be all blown out of
poroprtion by the new age types who would like to make the Bible into
just another book. Thier goal is to discredit the Bible of course. The
book has however stood the test of time.

Would love to see the one alledgedly written with Jesus' own hand in
ARAMEIC. That is the one all of the others have been derivated from
Rambill. Sorry - must once again disagree with your theological
perspective. Of course all those years of college were a waste of time
for me - right? I did major in Sociology of Religion.

satan definitely rules the world with all of his influences of greed,
temptation and pettiness but christianity is set up in a way that gives
him power until the christians take it back and that will not happen til
jesus returns. just my opinion but the world thrives on evil and i don't
think there are many truly good people left because they can preach all
they want but until they are really put in a position that tests their
faith and their resolve they will never truly understand how
inheritantly wicked that the world and the people that live here
are.....i've said it before and i believe it to be true but "HEAVEN IS
NOT OVERCROWDED"

And by the way Rambill, my goal as a Wiccan is not to discredit the
bible. We KNOW that Jesus Christ was on this earth. We simply disagree
that he is the son of a living God. He was, however, a wise teacher and
that I will never dispute. The bible has a great deal of good in it as
does the torah, the koran, and many, many, other publications that are
out there.

i didn't know that about the wiccan faith poolpro. have you ever noticed
that there are alot of faiths and they all share major similarities but
the main dispute is that christianity that jesus was the son of GOD. in
most of them the story is basically the same with one difference in the
role of one man.
